Trip Date February 6th, 2010
Jim, Brian, Evan, Craig and I had a fantastic climb of the North Twin Sister on Saturday. Our very optimistic plan was to climb both the north and south peaks, but in the end settled for just the north (we summited at sunset). We climbed via the west ridge, and descended the north face. The rope came out for the last thousand vertical feet. Jim led one team (with Brian), and I led the other (with Craig & Evan). We split the climbing into 3 & 2 simul blocks for the two rope teams, respectively. The climbing was mostly easy but with enough exposure and difficulty to warrant the protection. Incredibly fun mixed climbing on steep snow and low 5th class rock!
